It’s blockbuster time at the museums. The MoMA’s contribution is a large-scale exhibition of the work of Martin Kippenberger. This well-received show “includes key selections and bodies of work from his entire career: paintings, sculpture, works on paper, installations, multiples, photographs, posters, announcement cards, books, and music. ” Kippenberger might not be a household name, but he should be. And this will help.
