Peter Doig’s magnificent piece “Reflection (What Does Your Soul Look Like)” sold for $10.1 million at Christie’s Post-War & Contemporary Evening Sale on Tuesday night. The next night Warhol’s “200 One Dollar Bills” sold for $43.8 million at Sotheby’s Contemporary Art Evening Sale.

In 1967 Andy Warhol gave Cathy Naso, a part-time receptionist at The Factory, a self-portrait for work unpaid. She stored it in her closet and forgot about it, until now. It is part of Sotheby’s November 11 auction.
