There is a great group show I am in with the rest of my MFA colleagues at CCNY. It is very well presented and puts all of our work together in one space for the first time.

This might be the greatest piece of art from the past 20 years.

I’m really into early Picasso right now. Specifically his ‘Blue/Rose’ period from 1901-1906. Such emotion and delicate, sparse, fragile beauty. This particular piece, “Two Acrobats with a Dog”, is from 1905 and can be seen at the MoMA.
I finally made it to the Dia:Beacon this past weekend and it is spectaculor. Every last detail is perfect. I would really recommend taking a daytrip there. The train ride takes 1.5 hours, and gives you plenty of time to enjoy the fabulous collection (as well as the grounds- its location is superb). It is a great daytrip that in total costs less than $30.
